Does anyone know how khổng lồ fix this? The fix on rockstar gives a fix for when it says Social Club failed lớn initalize not steam as in what I am getting. I did actually try to lớn fix the error with what it says but it didn"t work - none of it. I removed gta 5 và dowloaded it again but still get the same message: Steam failed lớn initialize. Please exit and try again. I can open all of my other games in Steam, just not GTA 5. :(
- Make sure you"re running Steam and the game as admin- Don"t run Steam in compatibility mode- Go to lớn Steam > Settings > In-Game và see if disabling the Steam overlay helps- Cthua trận any programs that use overlays in games, like Fraps and MSI Afterburner- Cheông xã to lớn see if your antivirus software/firewall aren"t blocking game files
It doesn"t vì chưng it anymore. I just restarted & it went away. I"m not sure if it has anything to vì with me pirating the game first. My issue now, is that it crashes when trying to launch it. Going to disable the steam overlay after I finish verifying my game cađậy.

The problem for me was nvidia shadow stream. I have sầu disabled it from nvidia geforce experience & it did the trick for me.
